North America Events Council Blog Hop April 2018 Part 2
Onstage 2018, a Stampin’ Up! Event, was held globally on April 7th. I was selected to be on the Global Events Council and at Onstage was honored to give a presentation on new product suite. Actually, all members were given the same product and the North America girls decided we should start a blog hop and share what we each created and shared at our locations. Last week, we shared a scrapbook page in the first blog hop, North America Events Council Blog Hop. This week, North America Events Council Blog Hop April 2018 Part 2, starts now!
Love what you do!
I created the two cards using 4 patterns from the Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Paper. It was hard not to make a card using all 12 patterns! The paper is absolutely beautiful and several of the patterns have a pearlized finish. It adds the perfect shimmer to the gorgeous floral prints! The cards shown were part of my display board as well as make and takes for my monthly Second Street Stampers Team Meeting. The sentiment “Love What You Do” is part of the Love What You Do Stamp Set which is set for an Early Release date of May 1st.
Mint Macaron
On the Mint Macaron card, I paired it with Tranquil Tide. The top floral pattern sheet was so hard to cut! It is BEAUTIFUL! The artist from home office drew and watercolored each pattern. Well done!
Grapefruit Grove
The NEW Grapefruit Grove card I kept simple with adding Basic Black for a more dramatic look. You may notice my sentiment is two toned. I first stamped it in Grapefruit Grove and felt it didn’t pop and took a gamble and add black ink with slightly off centering it. I love the look!
Dimensions:
Want to create your own cards? Grab your Stampin’ Up! Trimmer and until the Share What You Love Suite becomes available (MAY 1st) grab your favorite Designer Series Paper!
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- cut layering piece (Tranquil Tide or Grapefruit Grove) 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut Designer Series Paper 1 3/4″ x 5″ (each pattern)
Once you have made your cuts, you can adhere the Designer Series Paper to the layering piece. Add your ribbon or the bow builder, sentiment and your card is almost complete. I love the look of each card!
Another CUTE project!
I was looking for a cute pillow gift for my friends at Onstage. I love the Acetate Boxes Stampin’ Up! introduced in the Holiday Catalog. Simply cutting one in half and filling with decorated Hershey nuggets was the ideal gift!
Treat Box Measurements:
- cut Acetate Box in half at 4″ (leave completely flat)
- cut Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Paper 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
- score at 3″ and 3 1/2″
- adhere to the outside of the box with glue dots
- attach ribbon and stamp sentiment on a heart from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits
Acetate Boxes:
Did you know about the Acetate Boxes? Well, lucky for all of us, Stampin’ Up! carried the item over! 5 Greeting Cards with envelopes fit inside the acetate box which makes a lovely gift!

I would love to help you with your Stampin’ Up! adventure!
Your double stamping turned out to be a great chance to take! It really turned out to add the right touch!
Thank you so much – I actually think I may have tried to go over the Grapefruit Grove but was slightly off. No mistakes in art 🙂 Thank you again!
