Stampers Dozen Blog Hop June 2017:
The season of gift giving, I think, is twelve months long. Right now, I am in the mist of Graduation Season. The theme for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop June 2017 is celebrating men. I designed a few graduation gift card holder, both for a boy or girl. I also included another one, Congratulations, to show how versatile Stampin’ Up! products can be! I purchased the new Striped Treat Bags and when they arrived in my order, I immediately wanted to share them! I love the bold gold stripe!
New Graduation Gift Card Holders!
Using my Large Number and Large Letters Framelits made creating the accent for my belly band EASY! I have been into “shadowing” the framelits for a simple dramatic effect. Both the Bermuda Bay and the Berry Burst Card Stock POP against the Basic Black Card Stock. I attached the belly band in the back to avoid having the seam show. Using contrasting colors, Pool Party and Powder Pink, were PERFECT for the Congratulations saying from Number of Years Stamp Set. I took my paper snips and trimmed careful along the seam of the bag to make it fold down in order to add my ribbon. I LOVE both ribbons on the Treat Bags! Have you seen the new ribbon? Card Stock Measurements:
- belly band is 2 1/2″ x 11″
- basic black card stock inside treat bag 6 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
- layering piece of card stock 6 1/4″ x 4″
