As the end of May nears, my reality of my oldest son graduating high school is fast approaching.  It is hard to believe that in a few weeks, his high school days will be over.  After the summer, he will head off to college, thankfully close, to start the next chapter of his life.  In the meantime, I have crafting to do and have to stay focused!  Trust me, I am enjoying the end of the year school festivities and still managing to craft almost every day.  When I woke this morning, no baseball game on the schedule, I decided to create a few graduation cards to share with you!  I am using the Large Number Framelits and the Large Letter Framelits to complete my cards, which by the way have no stamping on the outside!  I did stamp congratulations on the inside!  I love what I do.

Represent Your School Colors:

Our high school colors are Royal Blue and Gold.  Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have the exact shade however, Stampin’ Up! has a great assortment of colors, that Pacific Point and Crush Curry are a fantastic choice.  I am an alumni of the University of Maryland, so anytime I can incorporate my college colors I do.  I love how simple it is to create the graduation cap.  I cut a 1″ x 1″ square and attached the Balloon Framelit piece to the top.  I like the small about of Silver Glimmer Paper added with the star punch.  Any combination will be a hit for the graduate!

On a previous post, Time for Graduation Cards, I used the Large Numbers Framelits and the Number of Years Stamp Set.  It is a bit more of a feminine card.  Click on the picture and it will bring you to the original post.
