I try watercoloring all the time. Not the best at it, but it doesn’t stop me from loving the idea of it and how it will look at the end. I always tell myself, “there is no wrong in art.” The Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper, part of the 2017 Sale-a-bration Brochure, has 4 unique designs in which you can color with markers, watercolor pencils, reinkers, brayer, or leave it plain. I have tried each! All fun, all with different results. One thing about Stampin’ Up! that I often say, there are so many possibilities that you can never get bored! I did start the card with watercolor pencils but switched to reinkers to give myself more control with shading. I used soft sky to color the white part after I finished coloring in the flowers and leaves. Believe it or not I first placed the flowers on a layering piece Whisper White Card Stock but it didn’t work for me. I put the cards to the side, went to sleep and when I when I went back to them this morning, putting it on soft sky made such a difference! I am in love with the Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Soft Sky Color combination. It’s the right blend and with spring approaching, these colors will be blooming soon!
The Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper will be available until March 31st. I know I keep repeating myself, however, it’s such an amazing promotion. I love when people earn FREE product.
