Each quarter I hold a Bingo event at my home.  It is a fun night filled with Bingo games, prizes, laughs and CRAFTS!  I always try to make a 3D item or something I would not offer in a regular class.  That way, it makes the event even more special.  For the second project for Bingo, I choose to make a variety of note cards displaying several Sale-a-bration Stamp Sets.  Do you love them?  I can’t believe in 8 days they will be going away!  I really have grown to love all of them!

The NOTE CARDS:  I rave about Stampin’ Up! Note Cards all the time!  With the 2 colors to choose from, Crumb Cake or Whisper White, they come in a package of 20 with envelopes!  A great deal for amazing quality of note cards that can be mailed!

The Horray Card is made with the Reverse Words Sale-a-bration Stamp Set.  It is really neat doing different techniques with this stamp.  I stamped it first in So Saffron ink and then took my Bermuda Bay ink pad and “kissed” along the edges of the stamp to make it two-toned.  I even trimmed the actually note card so that the inside card stock would show!

The Thanks for Being You Card features the Avant Garden Sale-a-bration Stamp Set. I stamped the image in Early Espresso and then used Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach and So Saffron markers to color the flowers.  Added, of course, some rushed ribbon to complete my card.

The Happy Birthday To You Card uses the Occasions Stamp Set, Happy Celebrations along with the Delicate Details Sale-a-bration Stamp Set.  Using the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack for all the cards and card holder made it easier to coordinate colors.  I loved how each is unique but when grouped together complete a nice card collection to give as a gift.

The NOTE CARD HOLDER:  If you have not noticed, I tend to look for simple but effective projects.  With endless ideas of paper crafts, there are plenty to choose that are quick to complete.  For example, the note card holder featured in the picture.

The Note Card Holder measurements:

  • cut card stock 4″ x 10″
  • score at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
  • Designer Series Paper on the front panel 3 1/4″ x 3 3/4″

The Belly Band:

  • cut card stock 1 1/2″ x 10 1/2″
  • score at 2 3/4″, 3 1/4″, 7 1/4″ and 7 3/4″
  • wrap around and secure in place.  I overlapped in the front since the medallion will cover
  • tie thick baker’s twine into a bow around belly band.
  • stamp the Make the Medallion Stamp Set and place on belly band

(The Note Card Holder can easily be adjusted to hold more note cards or change the dimensions to fit normal sized cards.)

The other project my friends will complete at Bingo is my adorable Easter Card.  Head over to this post to see the details!  Click on the picture.

Don’t wait until the very end to get those last minute Sale-a-bration goodies!  With 8 days left, 2 items have already sold out, HOWEVER, there are plenty of items to choose from!  Here is the current HOST CODE 4ZZUDWBV to receive a treat from me!
