Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2026

Happy Spring! Yes, we are finally getting away from the cold winter months. I can’t wait for longer days of sunshine and higher temperatures. As April rolls in, I can’t believe my youngest will be wrapping up his second year of college. Time is moving quickly. Can you believe it’s time to share the Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2026.

My creation!

In the 23 years I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, we have never had a color like Secret Sea. I was pretty excited for this color combination for that reason. Shy Shamrock is leaving us next month so here is one more time to create with this shade. I hope you are inspired by my project. Water coloring is not a strength of mine but I wanted to try it!

The Details:

Grab your trimmer and let us get started!

cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
score at 5 1/2″
cut secret sea 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
cut 1/2″ strips from the mixed up patterns, place on secret sea ( 2/12″ x 5 1/4″)
trim DSP 3 3/4″ x 5″
add the secret sea card stock with strips on a diagonal and trim to fit
die cut a stylish shape circle in basic white and water color card stock
die cut a stylish shape square in secret sea
emboss using the sunflower folder
using reinkers and a water pen, share the sunflowers – be sure to shade light so you can add color slowly
or using stampin’ blends, color the sunflowers (bottom image)
assemble card as shown
add sentiment from Fabulous Sayings
finish with bow and embellishments

Alternative Card:

I made this card first as I love to use color blocking when doing this blog hop. To create this one, I used 3/4″ strips of the colors to make the background. Once I trimmed off the extra, I embossed it with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder. Lastly, I added ribbon followed by the sentiment and some embellishments.

Well that was a lot of fun! I definitely need more practice with water coloring. To be honest, I tried numerous times before it was ok to finish my card.
