Card Classes offered by me

Hello! I can’t believe it is almost April! The 4th month of 2026 is happening tomorrow. I am happy the winter months are behind us and I am so looking forward to warm sunny days. If you didn’t know each week I create projects for a weekly class to be held at my home. I love having people over for two specific reasons. One reason, the joy of seeing them create their masterpieces and the second, watching them build friendships with each other. This post is new to me, in that, I am sharing several card classes offered by me at one time.

Prep Work

When I begin to plan for class, I follow a few steps.

• grab a handful of stamp sets to see what grabs my interest
• pick a Designer Series Paper Pack
• pull cooridinating card stock
• scroll online for inspiration
• begin creating

Card Class 4/2

This class I chose the designer series paper first. This particular packet is the product of the month for February. The product of the month is available to purchase for $5 with a $75 order. It is while supplies last and one per customer. I was challenged with the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper, because the colors spread over the 12 x 12 paper. Stampin’ Up! concept artists do an amazing job with our DSP that I try hard to show it off not cover it up. Each card shows a different pattern and embellishments were used to finish each card. Probably my favorite is the deer, which is shocking to me. I normally stay away from realistic images.

Note Card Class 3/26

For the note card class, I picked the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper. What I loved about this packet, they are 2 patterns per color to mix and match. Added ribbon for extra texture and sentiments were easily found to complete the card. Remember. the note cards come 20 in a packet with envelopes and can be mailed in the USA. I definitely love taking a break from the normal size card and challenging myself to work on a smaller scale and still create an impact with my designs. The rose note card was a bit time consuming, however, everyone enjoyed learning the technique of using a stencil to create their card.

Variety of Cards!

This particular class featured multiple ideas. We have a birthday card, a baby card and a floral card. I haven’t created a baby card in some time but two of my downlines are expecting grandchildren so I had some inspiration! Definitely fun using the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper for this! The Happy Birthday Card was created for March’s Color Fuser Blog Hop! The last card, I had to do some coloring! Inspired by a card online in daffodil delight, I changed the color to bubble bath and pretty in pink for my cards.

Every Friday, I do a face book live on my customer page at 8PM. I go over Stampin’ Up! news and then a little show and tell and if there is time I craft. I love devoting this time to share.
