Hello!! April is here and I am so ready for the spring weather to arrive! A lot of exciting things are coming this spring…believe it or not it is the last month of the current Stampin’ Up! Catalog before it is replaced with an amazing new catalog. I can’t wait for it to go live. But before we see the new, why not see this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2025 designs!

My projects:

Each month I try to create more than one item using the color fusers combination. It is a challenge of mine, not a requirement to be in the hop. I just like showing how the same colors can look completely different from one project to another. This month, I decided to use the same stamp bundle on all three cards as well! Beautiful Butterflies was my choice because I just ordered it and wanted to create with it. Before I knew it, I had completed 3 different cards!

Beautiful Butterflies Bundle

Card #1

A little simple stamping on the first card. I always love when the image just stamps perfectly each time. I chose to use two of the three butterflies and the small dots in the stamp set. A small banner to stamp the sentiment was ideal. I used the dies to create the body of each butterfly. Finishing the the card with my favorite embellishments (for today, let’s be honest) the two toned gems. They are soooo pretty!

Card #2:

I have to admit, I often like to do a color block when I create for this blog hop. It just ties it all together. For this card, I took 1/2″ strips and placed them behind the basic white card stock before adhering the sponge dauber detailed butterfly die cut on top. Using the so swirly embossing folder on the white card stock to make it look whimsical. To pop the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Birthday in Gorgeous Grape on the Balmy Blue card stock. There wasn’t much room for the sentiment so fussy cutting made it fit perfectly. Using my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends, I colored a piece of woven white ribbon. Lastly, adding some purple tones embellishments finished the card.

Card #3

Reaching for my blending brushes, I used the colors on the basic white card stock before stamping the small butterfly in Gorgeous Grape. My embossing folder for this card was the Perfect Plaid and finishing the look, I of course used the iridescent ribbon. I love how all the colors reflect off the ribbon. Adding a 2 1/4 square of Designer Series Paper for a tiny bit of print was the ideal background for the sentiment.

From my 3, do you have a favorite? I do love how each card shares a different element from simple stamping to a different technique on the other two. Here are the basic measurements of my cards. Time to Hop!

Are you excited to see what the other talented demonstrators have made? I will say I love hopping through. It is rare but sometimes we all tend to use the same or similar stamps. I wonder if anyone else reached for the butterflies with this color palette. My supplies are listed below for easy reference. Have a great week and make time to craft! It does a heart good!
