Happy Holidays! How can it be that time already! This year has gone by rather quickly and no offense I am ready for 2025. But first, it’s the last first Monday of the month for 2024 and that means one thing! The Color Fusers Blog Hop December 2024 is ready to go! Please read through my post and then enjoy the other creative demonstrators who take part in this blog hop.
My Project:
Each month when the color combinations are presented to me, I really try to create multiple projects with them. I wasn’t planning on creating a holiday one, but one snuck in the mix! Below you will see 3 cards created with this month’s color palette. Let me know if you have a favorite.
Card #1:
Wanting to use the Country Lace Designer Series Paper, the bookend fold was perfect for the Country Flowers Stamp Set. I used Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers. The Simply Said Stamp Set was used for the sentiments.
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11′
- score at 4 1/4″ and 5 1/2″
- cut DSP 4″ x 4″ and 1″ x 4″
- stamp in memento ink and color with Stampin’ Blends
- stamp sentiment
- assemble as shown
Card #2
As I was looking for inspiration, I came across a few projects that used the Spotlight On Nature Stamp Set. It was refreshing creating cards not holiday related. I used Stampin’ Blends to color the items and fussy cut them before adhering to the card. The Shaded Spruce Ribbon was the ideal choice to finish the card.
Card #3
Well, I almost made it. I did make on holiday related. I just love this truck and pairing it with the Encircled in Nature Stamp Set made it that much better! I used the Snowflake Embossing Folder as my background and stamped off to create the shadow of the tree.

Just a quick picture to share:
Back in the day I used to run but over time, my knees are not loving the thought of running. For the past few months, I try to walk 2-4 miles 4 times a week. My favorite is walking on the beach however, it tends to be a bit too cold for me since summer is over. This is a picture of the bridge that leads to the beach. This is the view of from my walk since it’s close to my home and a few degrees warmer. I love how the clouds look at sunset.
