Paper Pumpkin May 2024 and Alternatives
It maybe the end of July, but I am sharing the Paper Pumpkin May 2024 and Alternatives this month. Each kit brings excitement and new creativity. Masculine cards are always asked for from my clients and this kit was perfect to design a few cards to add to my stash! My laptop is giving me problems, 2 keys are not working properly (the n & y) that I am going to take it somewhere to see if it can be fixed. Bare with me for any spelling errors.
The monthly video
I followed the basic instructions in the kit and posted my picture above. Stampin’ Up! always offers a video of the monthly kit on YouTube. It is a fun way to see the unveiling of the kit and the projects included.
My ALTERNATIVE cards!
If you haven’t figured it out, I never just make one. Especially when I know people like masculine cards. Because of the issue with my keyboard, I won’t be able to give detailed innstructions. đ I need to get it fixed or replaced ASAP!
Card #1
I used a deckled circles and stamped the image from the set in early espresso. Taking sponges, i used crumb cake, misty moonlight and pool party to create the background. Layering on a stylish shape circle finshed the look.
Card #2
Using one of the circles from the kit, I added a few layers of card stock to complete my card. The sentiment came from the So Sincere stamp set. Of course adding some ribbon alwayys completes my card.

I had to reach out and use the coordinating Country Woods DSP to complete this card. How cool the paper expand the opportunity to create more!

Mixing up the colors in the cards, I created this gem. Not sure which was the favorite in the class as they loved all of them.
June’s Paper Pumpkin
This past year I returned to creating alternatives for the monthly paper pumpkin kits. I haven’t created for each month, however I have done quite a few. For June, I was busy making projects for my Summer Retreat, that I had to skip on alternatives. I will be back next month for July’s kit.

It’s been 10 years since this picture was taken. Convention in Salt Lake City was always a fun time. Miss the travel time with my SU! friends. On a happy note, I just received my July Paper Pumpkin and can’t wait to get crafting. Be sure to sign up by August 10th for the next kit.
