Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2024
July 1st! It has been a crazy few weeks wrapping up college for one son and high school for another. I can’t believe my boys are finished with public schools. With that being said, I truly forgot about this blog until 11PM on Sunday! So it’s now 1:15AM and I am writing my post. I almost thought to cancel but I love creating for this blog hop. Want to see what I came up with for the Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2024?
My Project:
I decided to try a fun fold with alittle stamping and a small pop of color. Since I purchased the Layers of Beauty Bundle, I keep wanting to create with it. Not sure if it’s because it’s summer and flowers are blooming or to be honest, I just like it! I am asked for Anniversary Cards often so this blog hop was the perfect opportunity to create one.
The Details:
Grab your supplies and trimmer to make this adorable fun fold card!
- cut basic black card stock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, 1 3/8″ x 2 1/2″
- cut basic white stock 5 1/4″ x 8″, 1 1/4″ x 2 3/8″, 4″ x 4″
- score card base at 4″
- stamp flower stamp with memento on the 4″ x 4″ square of white card stock
- score on a diagonal to create the flap for the top of the card
- cut a 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ square of DSP, cut on a diagonal for the opposite side of the flap
- emboss the bottom half of the card with your favorite folder
- adhere the stamped white square to the top of the card
- trim the sides where the points hang over
- place the card to the basic black card stock
- stamp sentiment and place at the bottom with dimensionals, then tuck the tip to keep card closed
- stamp and die cut the accent flower
- stamp inside of the card
- color with stampin blends
- assemble card as shown
- add bow
- add gems

I hope you liked what I created at last minute. It just reminds me how great it is to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and have supplies on hand to make a card on the spot.
