They say there is never enough time to craft all that you want. I truly believe it. I have so many ideas that finding the time to create is challenging. Stampin’ Up! has provided me with amazing products that I have my list to what I would like to complete! Paper Pumpkin is one of the products I look forward to each month. Do you want to know why? Above, you will see the kit’s three cards. Super cute and super easy. MInimal stamping, which I would prefer a little more because after all I love stamping! But it was nice completing the cards and having that sense of accomplishment. The designs were all different and catching to the eye. Do you have a favorite? Alternatives
Sometimes I struggle with coming up with ideas. It’s the truth. I look at the parts of the kits and try to find a starting point. Something clicks and then before I know it, one card, two cards, three cards are finished!
Card #1(top left)
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- place score mark on a diagonal to cut off a triangle
- take the lost lagoon butterfly foil card and trim to 4″ x 5 1/4″
- place the corner on a diagonal to make a triangle to layer on the card base
- cut very vanilla 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside of the card
- trim lost lagoon 3 3/4″ x 4″ to layer the butterfly card
- assemble as shown
- tie a bow and place on the bottom of the focal card
Card #2 (top right)
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut layering card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut basic gray butterfly card 2″ x 5 1/4″
- die cut gold card stock with thanks & beyond die for bracket and thanks sentiment
- cut a strip of gold card stock 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
- assemble the card as shown
- place butterfly on bracket
Card #3 (bottom)
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut very vanilla card stock 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4″
- cut strips from the envelope, lost lagoon and basic gray butterfly cards 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
- die cut basic gray shape from nested essentials die cut
- assemble as shown
- add bow and butterflies

Senior Day!
Well, it was bound to happen, Senior Day for my youngest. Hard to believe we are here and that he has one month left of high school. He is still deciding where he would like to go…it’s down to the wire and should be happening any day. FINGERS CROSSED! Just want to share an updated picture and wish all of you Happy Mother’s Day to you!
