Perennial Lavender Framed Art

I finally got to create another project with the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. The first class, I made cards at my Winter Retreat. This time, it is all about the FRAMED ART! I choose two colors for the squares and then used 2 more colors, a shade darker for accent work. I hope you will love the Perennial Lavendar Framed Art so much that you will want to create your own.

Class is ready!

In January, I started hosting a monthly class on a Sunday. Each month it’s been something different. January, customers created cards from past kits I had on hand. In February, it was a product based class that featured items from the Bee Mine Suite. In March, it was about the Perennial Lavender Framed Art. I completed the class project last minute on FRIDAY NIGHT! It came out just as I had hoped and the people who attended loved it too!

Placement of Squares

After I finish the squares, this is how I place them onto the 12 x 12 paper. Having the markers in the four corners help so much with placement.

The Finished Project!

One of the best things about Stampin’ Up! is the end result. Look at how pretty this framed art came out! I love that everything coordinates. I can mix and match ribbons, inks and stamp sets to create the perfect piece to display.

A quick clean up!

I have been struggling lately with my craft room. I have moved it a few times and found I was working in clutter, my customers were crafting in clutter, every where I turned there was clutter. I spent a few hours flipping my room and created a clean classroom area. I love that the clutter is moved and when people come over for class, it is all set up for them. Also I can set up another table which I love. The mess, is still around, it’s organized but it’s on the other side. Next up is to go through and purge all that stuff. The problem, everything holds value so it’s not easy letting go. Do you have that issue too?

My events:

For April, my classes are a little light as I have 2 private class! WOO HOO!!! I love traveling to other homes and sharing what I love with others. I used to do it weekly but I know times have changed and I am embracing all outside classes I can get! If you go to my SU! website, the events are listed with a brief description. It is extremely helpful if you can RSVP to any events you wish to attend. Not local, I do provide kits to go (no stampin) if you are interested!  I hope you enjoyed my latest framed art.

Happy Stampin!
