Cutest Cows

Finally got to create with the Cutest Cows Bundle last month and feature them in a class. I will say I find it hard to create everything I want to create. Unfotunately, I am still struggling with back pain for almost a year. It comes and goes but currently, the past month it has been acting up. Trying to remain positive and continue with creating because it truly brings me joy to share with you. So, what did I come up with…a few cards that I hope will inspire you to create as well.

Cutiest Cows

Product Based Class

I have been working on changing up my classes. In the past, my product based classes included the bundle I was working the class around. A friend of mine shared how she was doing her club classes and I loved the idea of including other product instead and as an option one could purchase the bundle. I feel kind of like a personal shopper picking out product that you can use not only on the cards provided in class but on future projects.

  • 1/2 pack of dsp
  • clear block a
  • embeliishments
  • spool of ribbon
  • 6 card supplies with envelopes

Cutiest Cows

Card #1

See a card, make a card, share a card. Yes, a little bit of color with the stampin’ blends but have to love the outcome! A quick easy card to stamp and fussy cut the bottome half of the cow. I went out of the norm of black and white for the cow. Using the Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends to complete the cow.

  • cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
  • score at 4 1/4″
  • cut layering card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • basic white trimmed to 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • stamp with memento ink images as shown
  • color with stampin’ blends
  • fussy cut cow
  • stamp sentiment in Pecan Pie
  • trim DSP 1 1/2″ x 5″
  • assemble as shown
  • add ribbon
  • add to card base
  • finish with sentiment and some gems

Cutiest Cows

Card # 2

Berry Burst is a favorite to many people that is was a logical choice to use for card #2. Here I did my “bonnie fold” to highlight the stamp set.

  • cut card stock 4 1/4″ x 11″
  • score at 5 1/2″
  • with the 11″ across the top, cut a 2 3/4″ piece off on end
  • cut basic white 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 2 1/2″ x 4″ (2)
  • trim dsp 2 3/8″ x 3 7/8″
  • stamp grass in garden green
  • stamp cow and rooster images in memento ink on scrap card stock
  • color with stampin blends and fussy cut
  • stamp sentiment with berry burst
  • attach ribbon to card stock before adhering to card base
  • using dimensionals on half the sentiment piece to adhere to the fold of the card front
  • add a few gems to complete your card

Cutiest Cows

Card # 3

Probably my favorite of the three, mainly because I love how the blueberry bushel and daffodil delight look good together.

  • cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
  • score at 4 1/4″
  • basic black layering card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 3″ x 2 1/2″
  • basic white trimmed to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and 3″ x 2 1/2″
  • emboss with your favorite folder
  • trim DSP 2″ x 5 1/4″
  • stamp grass along the bottom with garden green on the focal point of the card
  • using a stampin sponge, blend color on edges
  • stamp with memento ink images as shown
  • color with stampin’ blends
  • punch cow with coordinating punch
  • fussy cut barrel and small bird
  • using a blending brush, blend balmy blue on sentiment card
  • assemble as shown
  • finish with sentiment, some gems and a bow

Enjoy!

Going to take some time and finish my card class for this week. I had wanted it to be product based but I changed it incase people wanted to order off the last chance list. I have created 2 of the cards using the daisy paper. Have a terrific day and I hope you have some creative time planned.
