Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2023
Hello March! SPRING is right around the corner and I can’t wait for sunny WARM days. This month the color combination is truly spring related! I can’t wait to share my creations as well as for to hop through the other demonstrators for Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2023. Enjoy the beautiful projects!
My Projects:
My last card class I featured this quick fun fold card. I decided to use it again here for the Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2023. I stamped the images to make my own Designer Series Paper. It wasn’t as easy as I had hoped. However, after a few attempts it all came together. The second card, yeah, I could not helpself, is another simple card to give another option using the same stamp sets and the same colors!
The Details on Card One:
Taking pictures aren’t always easy. I tried a few times, maybe 20 times and yet the shadows still show or it’s blurry. I apologize for it not being as cleared as I had hoped.
Grab your colors, grab your stamps, grab your trimmer and let’s create!
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score card base at 4 1/4″
- using a bone folder, fold the top of the card back to the crease to create an accordion
- cut white card stock 2″ x 5 1/4″, 3 3/4″ x 5″ and 3″ x 4″
- cut blushing bride card stock 3 1/4″ and 4 1/4″ and 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
- stamp card stock as shown
- assemble card
- add pearls for a finishing touch
The Details on Card Two:
I am always wanting to show other samples with Color Fusers Blog Color Combinations. Both cards were stamped with the Eden’s Garden stamp set mixed with pieces from the Irrestible Blooms stamp set. I used the Timeless Type Embossing Folder to add some texture and the sentiment was stamped on a die cut out from the Eden’s Garden Dies. Amazing…no ribbon! I still feel the card needs some ribbon but there aren’t an current ribbons in these 3 colors.
- cut card stock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut layering piece 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut whisper white card stock 3 3/4″ x 5″
- stamp images as shown
- use embossing folder to add texture
- finish with stamping sentiment and adding pearls
