Stampers Dozen Blog Hop June 2022
It’s been a few months since I posted for this hop. I almost was going to skip this month too as I just returned home from Waikiki and didn’t prepare before I left. I wish I was better at planning ahead but I am always last minute. Are you? I mean this blog hop goes live in 30 minutes and I am just starting! PRESSURE – but it will be worth it. I love sharing what I do. Let’s see what I and the other talented demonstartors are sharing in the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop June 2022.
Today is June 14th, in the United States, it is also flag day. My cards are “red, white and blue” in honor of flag day! The new in colors are bright and cheery and a welcome addition to Stampin’ Up’s collection of ink. I am thrilled with the all the product for the in colors and so happy all 5 colors coming in Stampin Blends! Don’t worry I wil be coloring a lot with them! But for my card tonight, one stamp out the Art Gallery Stamp Set with coordinating ink.
I was inspired by another demonstrator who created a similar card. I love how easy it was to create a pocket for a gift card. This month is crazy with birthdays and graduations.
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
- score at 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 with the 11″ across the top of your scorer
- take a 1 1/2″ circle punch and create a little notch for the gift card
- use tear tape to secure the sides in place
- cut in color glimmer paper 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut in color deisgner series paper 2 3/4″ x 4″
- die cut the 4 1/2″ and 3 3/4″ scallop frames
- die cut the heart on glimmer paper
- assemble as shown
- finish with ribbon and rhinestones
