Spring Framed Art
Hello Spring – it finally arrived! This week on Long Island, the weather should be close to 70! I am so happy. The need for sun and it’s warmth are top priority of me! This past Sunday, I created a Spring Framed Art. It has been way too long since I created one. I knew it had to have pretty colors, flowers and a bunny. Using a bunch of retiring items, here is what I came up with.
The Details:
Grab your supplies and let’s get started.
- cut your squares 3″ x 3″ and one rectangle 3″ x 6 1/4″
- cut the hand-penned designer series paper 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
- trim strips of coordinating colors of card stock 3/4″ in width to adhere to rectangle piece
- to create the bunny – heart punch, oval punches and 1/2″ circle punch for the nose and small circle for the eyes
- die cut the word spring with the playful alphabet
- using daisy lane, flowers of friendship and color & contour stamp sets
- using daisy punch and medium daisy punch doe flowers
- lastly add champagne rhinestones and ribbon!
Completion:
Now that you have.assembled your squares, here is full proof way of adhering them to your 12″ x !2″ background. I still to this day use the squares in the corners. I hope you find it helpful too!
