More Cards to share
The Color Fuser Blog Hop each month always challenges me. I love having someone pick a combination that I normally would not think to put together. After I complete my project for the hop, I create 2 more items, usually cards to create a class. I have more cards to share with the April Color Fuser Color Palette.
Card #1
The retiring Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating Daisy punch has been a favorite of mine and I have been on creating with it for the past few weeks. Being honest, I cased this card from a Stampin’ Up! post. I loved how they made the daisy! Of course, I put my spin to it but the simple technique of using sponge daubers to color the daisy stamp was a “WOW” moment. I couldn’t wait to share!
The Details:
Grab your supplies!
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut layering card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- emboss in your favorite embossing folder
- die cut Stitched so Sweetly Scallop Frame and shape for sentiment
- cut a card stack layering piece for the Sweet Scallop Frame
- stamp stem in Old Olive as shown
- stamp sentiment
- sponge dauber the center of the flower with Bumblebee
- sponge dauber the inside of the flower with crumb cake (stay close to the center and go about half way up the flower)
- punch out two flowers and adhere to your card
- add ribbon – of course 🙂
Card #2
Another retiring favorite, Blossoms in Bloom has been landing in my hands to create with! I think I love how it is not a perfect stamp, it leave some imagination and I can change it to any color I want! Sticking with this month’s color palette, I have to get some more Bermuda Bay as the focal point not just a subtle hint. What do you think?

- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut layering card stock 3 3/4″ x 5″
- emboss in your favorite embossing folder
- die cut from the Rectangle Stitched a white rectangle for flowers and sentiment
- on scrap stamp small flower
- add ribbon before you assemble your card
