Stampers Dozen Blog Hop January 2022
Happy New Year to the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! I am so looking forward to a year of new designs from the creative team of demonstrators that are part of this blog. For the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop January 2022, we are showcasing “In the New” from the new Mini Catalog or Sale-a-bration Brochure, I have to say this is a great way to start the new year with new amazing product!
My Project:
I wasn’t sure what to showcase for today’s bog hop. My last three cards featured using the same color combination. I have posted about one of the cards and thought why not talk about the other two cards. Below is one card using the new Blessing of Home Stamp Set, coordinating dies with color blocking as my background.
The Details:
Grab your supplies and let’s create!
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11′
- score at 5 1/2″
- cut layering piece 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut a piece of Basic White 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ to attach 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ strips to
- once I adhere the strips, I cut 1/4″ off on all 4 sides. This helps tremendously with keeping the card stock cut nicely. The piece with the strips should measure 3 3/4″ x 5″
- die cut the bracket from Tasteful Layers
- stamp flowers from Blessing of Home in memento ink
- color image with stampin blends.
- stamp sentiment in Night of Navy Ink
- add ribbon and assemble card as shown
Last Card!
Lastly, I came across this card and had to create it! The Bouquet of Love embossing folding is oh so pretty!! I used a song dauber to shade the heart and of course added some ribbon to complete my card. Super easy but oh so pretty!
Time to hop:
Now that you have seen my creations, it’s time to see what the other talented demonstrators included in this month’s hop have shared. My supplies are listed at the bottom for easy reference. Enjoy the creativity that is about to unfold!
Happy Stampin’
