Stampers Dozen Blog Hop December 2021
December 2021 is here and WOW – how fast did this year go! I am looking forward to wrapping up the next 2 weeks and ringing in the new year. In the meanwhile, let’s see my creation for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop December 2021.
My Project:
My Holiday Card Club ends this month before switching over to birthday. This is one of the 4 designed cards for my club. All cards hold gift cards this month, perfect for gift giving.
The Details:
- cut card base Soft Succulent 7 3/4″ x 5″
- score at 2 1/2” x 6″
- for the belly band, use a coordinating card color 1″ x 7″
- I tend to wrap it from the back to the front without scoring, don’t make it too tight as it need to slide off the card to open
- for the belly band, coordinating Designer Series Paper 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ (trim length to fit the from go the belly band (it will cover where the band overlaps in the front
- cut basic white 4 3/4″ x 3″ (inside of card)
- cut Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper 2 1/4″ x 4 3/4″, 1 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- die cut 2 circles to coordinate for the embellishment on the belly band
- stamp the tree in Evening Evergreen and punch
- place on belly band with adhesive
- use a circle punch to create opening for gift card
- attach designer series paper to card as shown
- stamp sentiment on scrap 3/4″ and create banner
- adhere to card with dimensional
- attach bow to finish your card. – the mascara to my card!
