Delivering Cheer Gift Card Holder
Can’t believe I am sitting here about to write my last post for 2021. SCARY! It’s been quite a year and I am so looking forward to ringing in 2022. This past month, I wrapped up my Holiday Card Club. Each member made 8 cards, 4 designs that involved cards for gift cards. The Delivering Cheer Gift Card Holder was the first time I attempted this fun fold. Let’s take a look!
My Projects:
Of course I couldn’t pick which girl I wanted on the outside so each card features a different girl. I then coordinated the blends with the Designer Series Paper. The Whimsy and Wonder Designer Series Paper has great colors in it that coloring was fun! Both the stamp set and the designer series paper is about to retire! Here is a closer look at this cute fun fold, It was the first time I created a card like this! Grab your supplies and trimmer to create your own.
card base:
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- layering piece (gray granite) 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut designer series paper 3 3/4″ x 5″
accordion card holder:
- cut card stock 4″ x 9 3/4″
- score at 1 1/2″, 4 1/4″, 7″
- add tear the to the outside edges of the 1 1/2″ fold to create your pocket for gift card
- cut coordinating designer series paper 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
- stamp girl in memento ink, color with stampin’ blends and then cut
- cut basic white card stock 2 1/2″ 3 3/4″
- place tear tape to the back of the card holder accordion and place on card base
- adhere girl to front
- add ribbon
- add rhinestones to finish the card
