Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2021
Well look at this, it’s the first Monday of the month and as of Sunday at 10PM I had not made my project. I feel like I’m always waiting to the last minute to get my creative juices flowing. Are you like that too? I am excited to share my design as the colors below remind me of a blue sky, grass and maybe a flower. HMMM, that’s my inspiration. Let’s see how it works out for the Color Fusers Blog Hop April 2021.
My project:
Yes, my card includes flowers and the three colors for this month blog hop, Seaside Spray, Old Olive and Real Red worked so well together! The Pretty Perennial Bundle from the Mini Catalog was ideal for my creation. I sometimes forget how pretty Real Red looks for a flower color. I am so used to using it for “holiday” or “hearts” and tend to stay away when it’s a flower. Happy to say, I love how the card turned out. It was quick too! That is also a plus!
The Details:
Grab your trimmer and paper supplies!
- cut card stock 4 1/4″ x 11″
- score at 5 1/2″
- cut layering piece 4″ x 5 1/5″
- cut Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 5″
- stamp flowers as shown
- stamp an extra flower on scrap paper and 2 leaves
- assemble card as show, add ribbon add the sentiment and finish with the die cut flower and leaves
