Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2020
Hello! I hope you are enjoying your Labor Day Weekend. I honestly can’t believe it is already September. So many things have happened this year and I only hope the year ends calmly. In the meantime, let’s share some projects that feature a pretty color combination for this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2020.
My creations!
I went back and forth with what I wanted to create and then I thought I haven’t made a kid card in some time. I pulled out my Hippo Happiness Bundle and found the perfect piece of plaid out the the Plaid Tiding Designer Series Pack and then created my card.
The Details:
Very simple to create, one bundle and the card is made!
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
- score at 5 1/2″
- cut layering card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut designer series paper 3 3/4″ x 5″
- stamp images as shown and use the Hippo & Friends Dies to cut out hippo, balloons, bow and brackets
- stamp sentiment in Night of Navy on 1/2″ of scrap Melon Mambo and create banner
- add rhinestones to balloons for some bling
- add denim ribbon because it’s the mascara to all my cards

The pictures were taken late night and not the best lighting at all! The card can easily be mass produced and you can easily switch the animal to create an assortment of cards.
