Bonnie’s First Stampin’ Retreat!
Finally after years of wanting to host a Stampin’ Retreat, I happened! I booked the hotel, invited the people and had an amazing time from planning, prepping and spending the weekend with a bunch of wonderful women! Today’s post includes details from Bonnie’s First Stampin’ Retreat!
January 11th and 12th, I held my first crafting retreat. The hotel was ideal with the perfect room to hold the event. Several orders placed, many nights creating, more days prepping but it all came together!
A few pictures highlighting the prep work for the event as well as some of the gift my guests received. Thankfully, one of my downlines, Sue, helped with A LOT of the Big Shot work. She definitely increased her muscle mass with all the cranking of the Big Shot. I loved the reaction from my guests when they received their unexpected surprises.
Sue met me at the hotel to set up the conference room on Friday night. I made display boards, raffles, adhesive and past Paper Pumpkin Kits to sell and brought MOST of Stampin’ Up! supplies to the event for everyone to use. Each person had plenty of space to work on their projects. Sue surprised me and covered a bunch of water bottles with my logo! After we finished setting up, the end result was fantastic!
The Make and Takes!
Everyone was given a bundle of product worth $50 for attending the event! WOO HOO! Inside their bundle, they found supplies to finish their make and takes. My registration fee included a class from me. They created 6 cards (3 designs) and a journal book. Below is the picture of the bundle and the make and takes.
I offered 2 additional classes! Both classes were a hit! I love to see people stamping away and working on projects!
The NOTE CARDS all featured Sale-a-bration items. I didn’t realize how cute the products were until I was making my cards. Do you have a favorite? All the note cards include the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper. The paper is so versatile! At times it is to appreciate the products from a picture. Hands on is so much better!

Paper Pumpkin Framed Art!
Inspired by another demonstrator, I created a QUICK framed art from the December 2019 kit. I added some pearls, embossed the solid card stock, ribbon and the butterfly for some extra detail. I truly love how Stampin’ Up! products coordinate with one another.
A few pictures I was able to take at the event. Time just went too quickly!
Well hopefully the picture shows you all the goodies people received at my first Stampin’ Retreat! It was an amazing experience in which I have learned a lot from. There is always room for improvements and I can not wait to implement them into my next one!
Yes, it is already on the calendar! I can’t wait to start planning to make my next event better than the first one! Come see what my retreat is all about! Contact me here or email me at [email protected] Inspire.Create.Share.
