Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2019
September 2nd, Labor Day here in the US. Summer is just about over, school starts on Wednesday and fall will be in a blink of an eye. Summer is by far my FAVORITE season because I am a sun and beach lover. I am not a huge fan of colder weather but I do love seeing the leaves change color. Snow can stay away in the winter, I would not miss that! With the season’s covered, let’s look at what I made for the Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2019 post!
When I first looked at the colors I was super excited to create. Fast forward to the night before, total creative block. Like nothing seemed to be working! Does that ever happen to you? I knew I wanted to use the Gather Together Bundle, so I grabbed that along with the paper and ink for the color palette. Then I sat there. I started to stamp and I made a mess! Finally, a design for a card came about and I am happy with the results.
My card for the Color Fusers Blog Hop is simple to create. You just need to clean the stamp in between ink colors!
- cut card stock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut layering piece 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut whisper white cards tock 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
- stamp the leaf from the stamp set in ALL the colors from the color palette
- cut a 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ strip to stamp sentiment
- stamp three 3 leaves to add as a focal point on card
- die cut the leaves
- adhered to card front
- add sentiment strip and bow to the center leaf
Happy Early Birthday!
I know my post is short today. There is another reason besides my creative block, I went to the Yankees Game today to celebrate my grandmother’s 98th birthday. Her actually birthday isn’t until January 16th, but she loves baseball so off to the stadium we went. It was a beautiful day and the Yankees won with a walk off home run by Mike Ford! Perfect day spent with family!
Time to Hop!
I hope you enjoyed my creation for today’s post. I will be creating a few more projects with this color combination. Be sure to follow my website so you know when I am posting!
