Falling For Leaves Framed Art
Right after I created my Falling For Leaves Framed Art, holiday posts took over! However, I wanted to share the beautiful Fall Framed Art piece. I love the colors that caught my attention from the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper. It is not the normal fall colors that I would pick. What do you think?
Slightly different pattern:
The layout is slightly different than my other framed art pieces. Usually, I cut nine 3″ x 3″ squares and begin to decorate. For the “Fall,” I had envisioned doing the eclipse technique and I am so happy with the result. I cut seven 3″ x 3″ squares and then made a 6 1/4″ x 3″ rectangle to house my FALL eclipse. It balances the squares as the placement of the rectangle matches with the other squares. I stamped the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set on Whisper White Card Stock. I love how it fit into the framed art like the perfect puzzle piece!
From the Nature’s Poems Designer Series Paper, my color palette was formed. I selected patterns which complimented one other. Next,I chose several elements from the Holiday Catalog (Falling For Leaves Bundle and Velvet Ribbon) and paired it with items from the Annual Catalog. With a large variety of products to choose from, creating a sampler is so much fun! Did you know I happen to love ribbon? I’m sure you have spotted all the different ribbons!
Placement of Squares!
Each time I post about a framed art I share this picture. It truly works! The squares line up so nicely!
Several of the products used on the project are part of the Year-End Closeout. The Falling For Leaves Bundle is no longer available. The Detailed Leaves Thinlits are sold out. However, the stamp set, Falling For Leaves is available along with several of the other items found on the project. Be sure to look over what is permanently retiring on January 2nd.
