Stampers Dozen Blog Hop November 2018

Can it really be November 14th?  I am having a hard time with accepting how quickly the days are going. However, the quicker they go the quicker spring and summer will be here. My project for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop November 2018 seems to be the ideal choice to represent the weather prediction for tomorrow, SNOW!  I am not ready for snow, however, I will keep myself busy creating more goodies for the upcoming season!

Color Challenge

This month, the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop November 2018 features a color challenge featuring Merry Merlot, Powder Pink and Silver Foil!  I love when I have to create using specific colors.  I was inspired by one of my friends, Zahra, for my project in today’s blog hop.  At Onstage, we did a card swap and I instantly feel in love with her creation.  When I returned home, I didn’t waste anytime in creating one for myself to share on this month’s blog hop.  I even made a video and of course, my nerves got the best of me and I totally forgot to mention Zahra’s name!  She is oh so talented and I asked if I could case her project.  Well, I guess you can figure out the answer!

A Facebook Live on how to create one!

I was able to do a Facebook Live after work today to show how to assemble the ornament.  Take a peek and see how simple it is to add layers of Sprig punches to a Stitched Shapes Circle.  The “snowflake” can easily be a tag for a gift or an ornament or maybe a focal point on a scrap book page.

Creating a few!

I had a fun time making these holiday ornaments or tags.  As you can see below, I created a few and I have more Sprigs punched so I can complete a few more!

Now it is time to start blog hopping and see the rest of the creations using Merry Merlot, Powder Pink and Silver Foil.  Be sure to leave a comment on the ones that inspire you!  We all love feedback.  My product list is provided below for easy reference.  Have fun blog hopping!

Happy Stampin’
