Exclusive Snowflake Showcase Products
Have you seen the Exclusive Product in the Snowflake Showcase? It is includes 2 stamp sets, framelits and adorable snowflake trinkets. I finally got to use mine the other day and I fell instantly in love! Although I am not a fan of the cold weather or snow, creating beautiful handmade cards is another story! The first of my 3 cards, Snowflake Showcase Joy Card, is the one my husband picked as his favorite.
Snow is Glistening Stamp Set
After arriving home from Onstage, it was back to business! I had a few classes to prep for one involving the beautiful Snow is Glistening Stamp Set, part of the Snowflake Showcase. As I looked over the stamp set and the coordinating Snowfall Thinlits, many ideas popped into my head! I knew creating cards would be a piece of cake.
Snowflake Showcase Joy Card
Now that I got all the product shown, let’s look at my card! The simple Joy card I am sure will bring “joy” to the receiver! I did a few little watercoloring on the Shimmery White Card Stock using an aqua painter and reinker. For the 3 snowflakes, I used scraps of Shimmer White Card Stock. The large Christmas Tree does not come with a die cut, however, the straight edge makes it easy to cut using the Stampin’ Up! Trimmer. Below, take a look at my Facebook Live showing you how I created my Snowflake Showcase Joy Card.
- cut Crumb Cake Card Stock 4 1/4″ x 11″
- score at 5 1/2″
- cut Pear Pizzazz Card Stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut Shimmery White Card Stock 3 3/4″ x 5″
- die cut the smallest Stitched Shapes Circle to stamp sentiment in Soft Suede
- stamp tree in Garden Green Ink
- trim tree with Stampin’ Up! Trimmer
- stamp tree stump in Soft Suede, fussy cut
- add Snowfall Thinlits
- place pearls in center
- tie knot in Shimmer Pear Pizzazz ribbon before placing on the upper right corner
I thought it would be fun to show you how the card was created. A few techniques and tips to help you finish your own Snowflake Showcase Joy Card. Do to my hospital work schedule, I can’t do my Facebook Live on Friday, so decided today was a good day to include one! I hope you enjoy creating your own card!
The Snowflake Showcase products are here until supplies last or November 30th. The stamp sets are awesome as well are the thinlits and snowflake trinkets. I added the trinkets to one of my cards that I will share soon. All three cards for this particular class are unique and I went with non-traditional holiday colors.
