Mixing Plaid with the Winter Woods Bundle
Have you ever heard of a Product Based Class? Simply stated, a Product Based Class includes product and a project using the specific product. I offer at least one product based class per month. Honestly, I love them because I love offering a class in which customers receive PRODUCT and a PROJECT. It’s a win win! For October, my Product Based Class features a stamp bundle from the holiday catalog. Let’s look at today’s post of Mixing Plaid with the Winter Woods Bundle.
Adding a little snow!
Are you wondering how the edges are colored white? I have to admit, I had some help. Home office is AMAZING with their videos on products and after watching the video on the Winter Woods Bundle, I had to try the embossing paste as “snow” as they shared. It was easy! I took the knife and gently as I could added to the end of each cut out. It dries rather quickly and I was so happy with the end result! What do you think?
Under the Mistletoe!
Of course I couldn’t decide on one pattern from the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper so why not create THREE different cards. I love how the two plaids look layered on the Night of Navy card stock and then placed on an Old Olive Card Base. Did you know Night of Navy was in the design? I have been using this particular packet of paper A LOT. However, that just shows how different each pattern can be used! It is so versatile, add it to your cart TODAY and start crafting!
A little red for fun!
As I was creating the other cards, the red plaid definitely kept calling my name so I quickly created another card. I choose the Swirls and Curls embossing folder for this because it’s new and it hasn’t been given enough attention. I decided on a white tree because I had one already assembled one for the other card but didn’t use it. Trust me, I do A LOT of trial and error before the finished project is revealed. It really pops with the Real Red, Whisper White and a touch of Old Olive.
Product Based Class:
After I complete my cards, I can not wait to share them. My Winter Woods Bundle Product Based Class is later this week and each person will make 6 cards. I can offer this as a class to go for the same price as listed below with the exception of an additional shipping fee to send the prepped materials to you. If you are interested, please contact me. I would love to share my creativity with you!
