September 2018 Holiday Card Club Note Cards

Almost October so I better wrap up my Holiday Card Club cards for September.  The last two to be featured are the note cards I created.  Each month, club members make 2 regular size cards and 2 note cards. I try to limit the number of stamp sets as well as Designer Series Paper.  WHY?  I am so fortunate to have out of state members and when they receive their packets, most of them purchase the product I am showcasing.  Let’s take a look at my September 2018 Holiday Card Club Note Cards.

Merry Christmas Note Card

For the first note card, I chose the Merry Merlot Specialty Designer Series Paper. I loved pairing it with the Gray Granite since I had the ribbon to coordinate perfectly with it!  The ribbon is 1/2″ and making a bow would of taken up too much room.  A simple knot and wrapped to the back was the best solution of adding my “mascara” to the card.  I love the Copper Foil Sheets elements added with the flower and banner.  Cut the Gray Granite card stock 4 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ and the pattern paper 4 1/2″ x 3″.  This will allow you to make 10 NOTE card top layer pieces from one sheet of Speciality Designer Series Paper. The card was a hit!

Happiest Christmas Wishes

The last card for this month’s club I went with the jumping deer thinlit.  Pairing it with the snowflake pattern in the paper pack.  I will say, the color in the pack says Sahara Sand, however, I paired it with Crumb Cake and I am really happy with the results.  The bracket for the sentiment came from the Merry Christmas Thinlits.  The Crumb Cake card stock is cut 4 3/4″ x 3 1/4″.  For the Speciality Designer Series Paper, I left it longer through the middle instead of leaving a border at the top and bottom.  The paper is cut 4 3/4″ x 3″.
