Rooted in Nature Bundle in Subtles
With the Holiday Catalog going live today, I decided to share a card I created with a NEW BUNDLE from the Annual Catalog because I know I will be focusing on the Holiday items very soon! The Annual Catalog is packed with some amazing products and I love being able to create something and feel a little proud about it. Card Class this week for me has no theme. Anything goes, I guess you could say. I made one card with a new Holiday Bundle, Peaceful Noel and I have another card from the Annual Catalog to post later this week. For now let’s look at the Rooted in Nature Bundle in Subtles.
The Details:
Petal Pink was introduced with the launch of the catalog in June. It quickly became a favorite because it’s a soft peachy pink color. I love the contrast when paired with Soft Suede. The patterns in the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper really grab my attention. Do you feel the same? Such a mix of colors and they look create with so many colors. Once I finished making the Petal Pink with Soft Suede Designer Series Paper, I knew I wanted to try the layout with another pattern. The Tranquil Tide Pattern was the next one that I pulled and I paired it Pool Party because I had twine to match! Once again, it came down to my favorite accessory, ribbon or twine!
Card Measurements:
Grab your trimmer and let’s get started on creating a card for yourself.
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut Very Vanilla card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- emboss with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder
- cut Very Vanilla 3″ x 4″
- cut Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
Stamp the sentiments in either Soft Suede or Tranquil Tide depending on the card base. Add some twine before using dimensionals to adhere to the card front. Stamp some leaves and die cut them to make your card complete!
