Hand Delivered Graduation Card
Yesterday I posted a few graduation cards featuring the Large Letters and Large Number Framelits. Today, I am showing a graduation card that shouts out girl! I am in love with the host stamp set Hand Delivered and had to create yet another card featuring the cute set. Look at the Hand Delivered Graduation Card.
One of the best items introduced by Stampin’ Up! are the Stampin’ Blends. In October 2017, with a little hesitation I decided it was time to embrace the alcohol markers. Well I can tell you I LOVE THEM as do A LOT of people. In high demand of the new product, the Stampin’ Blends “sold out” in February 2018 and Stampin’ Up! determined it was better to removed them until they could fulfill back orders and have inventory before putting them back in customers’ hands. FINALLY, they are back and I have so missed them! The lovely lady from the set was stamped in Memento Black Ink and then colored with Stamp’ Blends. With an assortment of colors to choose from I could make several of these cards!
A few tips:
When you color with the Stampin’ Blends, I recommend a few things.
- Stamp image in Memento Ink
- Stamp image on THICK Whisper White
- Wait a brief moment (about a minute) for the ink to dry before you start to color. You may notice the one black line on the dress smeared. I probably started a little too soon. No wrong in art, it adds some character.
After I finished coloring the image, I fussy cut her out before I placed her on a scallop oval. I did add some Balmy Blue color to the Whisper White card stock with an aqua painter to soften how bright the white felt. Lastly, I added a little Wink of Stella to the stack of books for a little shimmer. It is so hard to take a picture of how pretty it looks!
Having too much fun with creating this card, I decided why not make one more and do it on a FB live. As you watch, I share a few more tips about the products used on the card. I hope you find them helpful in creating a card for yourself.
Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper Stack
Did you notice that beautiful paper stack? I created a whole bunch of cards for a card swap that I will be sharing in the coming week because I couldn’t decide on one pattern! I definitely recommend adding the Garden Impressions Designer Series to your order!!
Do you love her?
My card just makes me smile but it’s time to wrap this up and start on some other creations! The Hand Delivered Stamp Set is a Host Rewards Exclusive Set. What does that mean?
