Stampers Dozen Blog Hop March 2018
It’s the 14th of the month and that means the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop March 2018 is ready to go! The theme this month was focusing on the Second Release of Sale-a-bration 2018 items. Without even thinking twice, I reached for the Blossoming Basket Bundle and the Springtime Foils Speciality Designer Series Paper.
Springtime Foils Fun Folded Card!
I couldn’t resist when the theme was posted. I grabbed the paper and decided make a card that would also work for my Sale-a-bration Card Club! That also meant working with the Blossoming Basket Bundle! So fun to pick the Copper foil patterns and partner it with Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede. Using our amazing Stampin’ Blends, I cut the flower from the paper and colored. A little Copper Trim added just above the leaves and my card is complete! All the supplies I used are listed at the bottom of the post.
To create the Fun Folded Card:
Every once in awhile, it is fun doing a fancy folded card. I love how this card opens and it works perfectly if you want to add maybe a gift card? Take out your Stampin’ Trimmer and follow the directions.
Card Base:
- Cut card stock 4 1/4″ x 11″
- With the 11″ across the top, score at 3 3/4″ and 9″
Belly Band:
- Cut 1″ x 9″ a piece of Springtime Foils Speciality Designer Series Paper
- Fold from back to front and over lap in the front (oval framelit will cover)
Layering Pieces:
- Cut Copper Foil Sheet at 3″ x 3 1/2″
- Cut Soft Suede Card Stock 2 3/4″ x 3 1/4″
Inside Card Stock:
- Cut Whisper White 3 1/2″ x 5″
- With the 5″ along the top of the trimmer, score at 1/2″
- place tear & tape to the 1/2″ part to adhesive to card base
