With all the attention on Sale-a-bration products, I decided it was time to break out the Petal Pair Embossing Folders that are featured in the Petal Passion Suite. A hidden gem in the Occasions Catalog, the pretty pattern on each folder adds the perfect touch to a project. Today’s post features the Petal Pair Embossing Folder with Heartfelt Blooms and a VIDEO on how I created the card.
Petal Pair Embossing Folder with Heartfelt Blooms
The hidden gem in the Petal Passion Suite is the Petal Pair Embossing Folders! Last week, I posted cards featuring the pattern on the left (Color Fuser Blog Hop March 2018) and this post features the pattern on the right. Both work perfectly on projects! I love the raised texture and the small details.
Which color to pick?
Card one, I first picked So Saffron with Smoky Slate to create the cards. I had a few attempts with the layering pieces as well. I finally decided the smaller layers worked better because I wanted the embossing folder and stamp to really show.
Card two features Flirty Flamingo with Basic Gray and Smoky Slate. Basic Black was too much of a contrast that the Basic Gray card stock softened the look but grabbed my attention. LOVE the ribbon selection….
Card three features Night of Navy with Sweet Sugar Plum. I am a blue lover and the Night of Navy never disappoints.
