Quick Valentine’s Day Card
Well today is the day…Valentine’s Day! Did you forget to make your card for your someone special? I know the cards featured are not the traditional red color for Valentine’s Day, however, I love the softness of the Pool Party and Powder Pink with Smoky Slate and Basic Black. The Quick Valentine’s Day Card is a solution if you are short on time!
Heart Happiness!
To start, I have to highlight the Heart Happiness Stamp Set. It truly just makes me smile with the variety of heart stamps. Solid, striped, floral or polka dot, which to pick! Plus, many of the hearts fit either in the Sweet & Sassy Framelits or the Lots of Love Framelits. I have used most of them on projects and the ones I have not, I can still use this set ALL YEAR ROUND!
To Start:
Card Measurements:
- card base (Smoky Slate) 4 1/4″ x 11″
- layering piece (Basic Black) 3 3/4″ x 5″
- layering piece (Powder Pink or Pool Party) 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- designer series paper (Petal Passion) 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″
Once materials are cut, stamping starts! I stamped the largest heart in the light color and then with Memento Black Ink stamped the sentiment from the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set. With a rhinestone on the smallest heart and coordinating ribbon for each color, my cards were complete. I bet any designer series paper will look just as adorable with this layout of a card. Add to the list!
