Petal Passion Designer Series Paper colored with Stampin’ Blends
The moment I saw the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Catalog, coloring it with the Stampin’ Blends did not cross my mind! I know, a little crazy to think that after I actually did. I created projects with the paper like I normally would do with, but never really thought of coloring it all in. I am glad I took the chance! Today’s post features the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper colored with Stampin’ Blends.
Took a chance
With every creation, you have numerous Stampin’ Up! products to work with. Since the release of the blends, I have been obsessed with using them on projects. Have you tried them? I have been using them in several of my classes and my customers are in love with them too!
Petal Passion Designer Series Paper
The simple black and white patterns on the 12 designs are awesome alone or as you can see colored. I have left the paper as is on many projects, but have used a brayer, sponges, markers, stamps and blends on several of the patterns. Endless opportunity to create a different look!
When I went to place my finished colored project on card stock, I loved how the reverse side looked! I really had a hard time deciding which side to display. As you can see from the photo below, the blends bleed through creating a neat washed out look.
On the 18th of this month, I celebrated my birthday. I traveled to Maryland shortly after and was able to spend some time with a few of my sorority sisters. After 29 years we are still as close as we were in college and their support in my own Stampin’ Up! adventure is overwhelming. They love receiving homemade cards from me! It was Brooke’s birthday on the 21st and of course, she received a handmade card from me! Here is the card she received and a picture of the birthday girls.
