Amazing You Stamp Set with Heart Happiness
When the Heart Happiness Stamp Set was featured in the Occasions Catalog, I knew it would quickly become a favorite. The main reason, I love hearts. I loved there was a variety of hearts, as well as coordinating framelits for many of them. With the Sale-a-bration Card Club falling during the month of February, I thought it would be nice to use the Amazing You Stamp Set with Heart Happiness.
Picking out a color combination:
Whenever I start designing for a class, I really think about the color combinations. Stampin’ Up! provides such an assortment that it is challenging making a decision. Many of my customers love neutral colors and I really wanted to use Peek a boo Peach since it is an In Color that will be retiring on May 31st. Pairing it with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso really made the Peek a boo Peach pop. I added the Sale-a-bration Amazing You Stamp Set behind the heart as well as the word “You” to the small heart. Luckily, the True Gentlemen Designer Series Paper had the perfect pattern paper to tie in my colors before I added the Gold Tinsel Ribbon to my card. The finishing touch of a Gold Metallic Enamel Shape on the “amazing” from the Sale-a-bration Celebrate You Framelits completed the card.
Two looks, one design
As you can see, a simple switch of color makes the same layout look fabulous! The Berry Burst paired with Soft Sky and Basic Black really was a nice change from the neutral colors on the first card. The polka dot pattern paper is part of the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper Pack and the Powder Pink Tinsel is part of the combo pack! Want to create your own?
Card measurements:
- cut card base 4 1/4″x 11″
- score at 5 1/2″
- Basic Black was cut 4″ x 5 1/4″ while the Early Espresso was cut 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- cut the colored card stock 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
- cut the Very Vanilla or Whisper White card stock 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
