Perennial Birthday Project Kit

I used to skip over kits. I am being completely honest. However, I am no longer blind to kits. The concept of a kit is to make crafting a creative escape and that is EXACTLY what Stampin’ Up! delivers. Almost everything is included to complete the projects or a supply list is provided. It makes a WONDERFUL gift for that crafty friend you have no idea what to get. In the Perennial Birthday Project Kit, 16 cards are included. The 4 designs are each different requiring minimal stamping and assembling to complete. I love the color palette to this kit and of course, the AMAZING box all the finished cards can go into.

Vacation Time – Pack a Kit!

For the break between Christmas and New Year’s, my family headed to sunny Florida. I knew I would not have much time to craft or space in the condo. However, I packed my Perennial Birthday Project Kit. It was the perfect kit to bring as it was simple to complete and the cards look fabulous!

The Dapper Denim Card:

As I was completing the card, I thought a quick video may help to show you how I create the banner with the gold ribbon. A simple fold of the ribbon and then cut with a scissor works like a charm. I apologize in advance for the video, it’s a little shaky with no video stand.

Coordinating Perennial Birthday Stamp Set:

All of the cards contain sentiments from the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set. On the floral designed card, the flower on the tag was completed with one of the stamps. Simple stamp, with great impact.

Masculine Card:

I love the variety of the cards included in the 4 designs. The Old Olive Card features festive balloons in Dapper Denim. I love the gold accents on each of the cards, adding that rich element to the design.

Oh so flirty!

Lastly, the Flirty Flamingo Card is bright and cheery making it ideal to send to a friend. I think the card shouts springtime and here in the middle of winter months, I can not wait for warmer weather.
