Petal Passion Card Swap:
When a new catalog is about to go live, I participate in card swaps with fellow demonstrators from around the Untited States. Fortunately, there are demonstrators who take on the task of organizing it, have hundreds of swaps mailed to them, sort through them and then send them back. I am very appreciate of their time. This is one of my Petal Passion Card Swap that I sent off to Texas.
When I’m creating for a swap, I tend to always want to show multiple color combinations. However, I really loved how Bermuda Bay popped with the Black and White Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. I thought of adding color to the flower from the Petal Palette Stamp Set, but then decided against it. I’m happy I did!
To finish off my card, I used the NEW Stampin’ Blends to color the Stampin’ Up! Rhinestones. Such a simple thing to do but so effective! I love them in the Bermuda Bay color!
Wanting to create your own? Here are the card measurements. You will need ribbon and a few circle punches as well.
- cut Thick Whisper White cardstock 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”
- score at 4 1/4”
- cut Basic Black cardstock 4” x 5 1/4”
- cut Designer Series Paper and Bermuda Bay cardstock 3 3/4” x 5”
- place the Designer Series Paper on a diagonal in your trimmer and cut. Resulting in creating two of equal size triangles
I made this video showing how to cut the Designer Series Paper on a diagonal for a Note Card. Same concept for this card as well.
