When the Stamping’ Up! Annual Catalog came out in June, my wish list was quite long. High on the list of “first to buy” was the Colorful Seasons Bundle. Have you seen it? I love the bundle includes elements of each season, thus the name Colorful Seasons. So far, I have used the chair, flowers, leaves and ALL of the sayings. I can’t wait to see what my next project will be from it. Take a look at the bundle below and then scroll past it and see how the Colorful Seasons Bundle creates a beautiful card!
Colorful Seasons Bundle creates a beautiful card!
With summer ending, I knew the bundle would be perfect to create a beautiful card. Are you wondering how I created the sun? By creating a mask with our Layering Circle Framelits and then sponging, it wasn’t too hard. The video in the post shows how I made it AND it includes how I used the Stampin’ Write Markers to color the flowers. I love showing simple techniques that showcase a WOW factor.
Card Measurements:
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (Flirty Flamingo)
- cut layering piece 4 x 5 1/4″ (Rich Razzleberry)
- cut top piece 3 3/4″ x 5″ (Whisper White)
After the supplies are cut, grab some Stampin’ Sponges, ink pads and a few Stamping’ Write Markers. I can honestly say, making one of these cards will not be enough. Cut extra and make a few at one time. 🙂
Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack:
I am sure you noticed the adorable chair. The Wood Textures Designer Paper Stack is ideal for a realistic look. The picture below shows all the patterns available. I used our liquid glue to adhere the chair to the card front. Dimensionals, even mini were too hard to hide on the back of the chair for it to be popped up.
