Summer is here and this is the perfect bundle to start the season!  The Lemon Zest Bundle Card hits the spot!  The Lemon Zest Stamp Set has bold shapes and paired with bright colors makes me want to drink some lemonade.  I saw the lime card on Pinterest and fell in love!  I had to make my own.  Thinking ahead, I changed it slightly so I can use it in a future card class.  I love adding the Brick Wall Embossing Folder for some texture to the card.

Lemon Zest Bundle Card hits the spot!

It sure was fun grabbing my sponge daubers to create the two toned look on the “slice” stamp.  I stamped the shape first in either Lemon Lime Twist or So Saffron.  Taking a sponge dauber I added the darker shade (Wild Wasabi or Daffodil Delight) to the stamp BEFORE stamping it onto paper.  Using the sponge daubers, I darkened the punch pieces to make them stand out on the card.  I can’t wait for my customers to make their own cards in class.

I love the Lemon Lime Twist Sheer Finely Woven Ribbon.  Just the right pop of color to finish my card!

A closer look of the Daffodil Delight and So Saffron Combo:

The Happy Birthday stamp I chose Wild Wasabi ink instead of the Daffodil Delight because it made it stand out! The sponge daubers work well to shade the punch pieces without making a mess of my hands!  The small Wild Wasabi stamped shape came from the Tranquil Tulips Stamp Set.  It was on my table and the card had too much white showing for me so I had to add something.  It was a quick fix but I like it!
