The sun is shining bright on Mother’s Day! Yesterday it literally rained all day. In and out running errands, I was soaking wet for most of the day. I am happy to see the bright yellow sun in the sky today! My Happy Mother’s Day! NOTE card was inspired once again by a retiring stamp set. I love the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set with it’s coordinating Wonderful Wreath Framelits. It can be used throughout the year which makes it even harder to say good bye. Do you have this in your collection of stamps? With my website fairly new, I am going through old posts on Pinterest to share more ideas with you. I even came across two scrap book pages! I know people often have a hard time with scrap book layouts so hopefully you will find them helpful!
Happy Mother’s Day!
You will see in my card today, I am using 3 small flower punches. The framelits do have a flower, but I really love our punches, especially the small ones. They add the right balance to my card. Unfortunately, I am teasing you with them as all 3 are RETIRED. Punches are one item I like to hold onto. They definitely come in handy. I wasn’t sure about adding the background stamp but I am glad I did make one with it. The Hardwood Background Stamp makes the card a little country to me. The colors I chose for the wreath were Garden Green and Wild Wasabi. The flowers are Peek a Boo Peach, So Saffron and Wisteria Wonder. The Mother’s Day greeting came from a past Paper Pumpkin Kit. I am happy with how it looks on the note card.
The Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set makes the two or three step stamping easy. On the photopolymer stamps there is a “tail” for you to line up the stamps with ease. The framelits also have that “tail” to help with cutting them through the Big Shot with ease. Stampin’ Up! really does think of everything!
I used baby wipes and reinkers to create the look on the card below. Everyone in class loved this easy technique of creating the multi colored leaves. What do you think? Do you recognize the sayings? They come from the beloved stamp set, Cottage Greetings.
This is a past Christmas Card.
My Stampin’ Up! friends from Delaware came up in September to explore Long Island. In a weekend, we covered A LOT of territory. In this layout I created, I tried to highlighting some of the fun we had. Do you see the Wondrous Wreath and Wonderful Wreath Framelits? (Ignore the website on this picture – it’s my old one.)
I still wanted to share this Holiday layout even though it is a few years old. Can you spot the Wondrous Wreath and Wonderful Wreath Framelits? I love creating items with Stampin’ Up! products. Everything always comes together and makes the perfect layout! The picture of course could use some better lighting.
Product list to follow in case you want to see the goodies I used to create the Happy Mother’s Day Card with the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and the Wonderful Wreath Framelits.
