When in doubt create your own flower bouquet! The overcast sky, the cold breeze and RAIN have not made it feel like Spring. Today, I was looking through ideas and came across a card that inspired me. It gave me the motivation to create my own card! I love how it turned out, it was just what I needed on this Friday. I am so looking forward to sunny WARM days!
The Flower Patch Stamp Set and the coordinating Flower Fair Framelits are both retiring. I will be honest and say I haven’t used them in some time but this week, I made 2 cards featuring the set. Today’s card features an assortment of colors which I love. I used the Hardwood Background Stamp to make it look like it was on wood. In order to make the words stand out, I embossed the sayings from the Watercolor Words Stamp Set with white embossing powder. It wasn’t a hard task stamping the images and then using my big shot to cut our the images. Of course, I added some Watermelon Wonder Mini Striped Ribbon to finish off the card. All my supplies are listed below.

The Flower Patch Stamp Set has a total of 19 stamps to create all different flowers!
The coordinating Flower Fair Framelits of course work perfectly with the stamp set. It leave a small border of white.
I went back through some of my OLD pictures and found 3 pictures of cards I created. The website is old on it – so don’t try and use it, it doesn’t work. The new online store web address is www.bonniestamped.stampinup.net. As you can see, the stamps look good in any color combination!
This first picture was for an organized swap at Convention. I couldn’t make all the cards in the same color combination, so I mixed it up.
A closer look…love the color combination of Rich Razazleberry and Mint Macaron.
I held a 3×3 class in which the stamp set and framelits were used…
Lastly, on the card below, I masked after stamping the large flower. I place an oval mask and sponged the oval. Such a simple but pretty card! The Happy Birthday stamp is part of the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set.

Enjoyed looking at your creations. I have never see a crisscross card. You site is easy to navigate through as well.
I truly appreciate your feedback! I am trying to keep post simple but informative. (and interesting 🙂 ) I haven’t made the criss cross card in some time so it was a nice reminder of something “old” to create. I hope you find time to make one! If you do, I would love to see it. Thank you again for your comment and feedback.
