When I travel with Stampin’ Up! friends, I try to create something special to remember the occasion. For the November OnStage 2016, I found pocket calendars in the Dollar Store and decided it was just what I was looking for! I always have a ton of Designer Series Paper to choose from (I LOVE ALL THE PATTERNS!!!) and it was perfect to use to cover the calendars. I use my calendar all the time to remember birthdays! I am trying to send out more cards to family, friends and customers. After all, I do create cards and I hope by sending them, I brighten someone’s day!!
The calendars were a big hit with my friends at OnStage. I have gone back to the store numerous times and just yesterday, covered 9 more. I have sent a few to friends, family members as well as customers. It is easy to mail and every one loves it! It really is worth the $1!!!!!
The picture below features calendars I covered yesterday while I was vending at a crop. I used the Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper. People were asking me questions about what I was making. They loved the idea because we all need a calendar to slip into our purses. I did give 3 away! One to a team member who I unfortunately do not see often enough! One to a customer who had extra paper for me! The last one, to one of the organizers of the crop. ALL 3 were delightfully surprised when I handed them their calendars. I enjoy making things but I throughly LOVE doing the unexpected and making someone smile!
Here are the three I gave away. I used the Emerald Envy and Peek-a-boo Peach Card Stock on 2 of the calendars. I love using my large letter framelits to personalize the calendars. So SIMPLE AND QUICK! I am debating if I need to go back to the Dollar Store and buy more….
As the month of March is coming to close, I can not believe how fast it went. Only 4 more days of Sale-a-bration 2017. There is still time to order or even JOIN my team, Second Street Stampers! I would love to share Stampin’ Up! with you!
