By now you must of heard Stampin’ Up! brought back Watercolor Pencils in its Occasions 2017 Catalog. I definitely missed having the pencils to use as a coloring option. I have seen wonderful projects displaying the use of the watercolor pencils. I was drawn to the watercolor wash shown on my cards. It is an easy but effective pop of color to stamp on! I created them specifically for my monthly Happy Birthday Card Club members. Why? Because I love to show simple, quick but WOW techniques. The cards are actually note cards. Although they are smaller in size, I can showcase how pretty the pencils look against the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper. I decided I needed to share the technique with you! Yes, there is a quick video to show how simple this is to create. I hope you find it helpful! (You may need to add the watercolor pencils to your wish list!)
In my video, I show the technique on a “normal” size card. I thought it would be helpful to show how the watercolor wash background looks on either size.
Details on the pencils: High-quality, smooth color pencils. Perfect for watercoloring stamped images. Use with Aqua Painters, Blender Pens, or alone.
