Color Fusers December 2019 Snowman

Each month when the Color Fusers Blog Hop goes live, I love sharing additional projects using the same color palette. This month the colors were Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel and Silver. The Color Fusers December 2019 Snowman Card is one of the cards I created using the color combination. It got rave reviews over on social media which made me quite happy!

The Sparkle Glimmer Snowman!

I will admit, I have seen a lot of this snowman, have you? Admit it, he is cute with no eyes and some rhinestones as buttons! Creating him from the sparkle glimmer sheets made me think he was more magical. I added the nose and the arms before tackling the hat. The hat was plain, so the simple knot with thin ribbon did the trick and the snowman was complete. The new hammered embossing folder is one of my favorites! It looks like cobble stones or snowballs! The right texture for the background go my card.

cut card base 5 1/2 x 81.2″
score at 4 1/4″
cut layering piece 5″ x 3 3/4″
emboss with your favorite embossing folder
trim In Color Designer Series Paper 1″x 5″
cut Smoky Slate card stock 3″ x 3″
cut Whisper White 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
stamp snowflakes from the To Every Season Stamp Set
stamp sentiment on Balmy Blue with Blueberry Bushel ink and punch with the Tailored Tag Punch
assemble card as show and then create your snowman!
