Color Fusers Blog Hop February 2026

February is here and hopefully like January it will go quickly. Warmer days are coming, however, I haven’t minded the cold weather. This kind of shocks me since I love the sun and warm weather. On a side note, one year from now my oldest son will be getting married. Pretty exciting for him and his future wife. Lots of creative ideas come to mind and I am sure I will share projects with you. In the meantime, it’s time to share this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop February 2026. I hope you find inspiration in this month’s hop.

My Project:

It was a bit of a challenge this month’s color selection. To me, very spring or snowflake theme would work. I went back and forth of what to design, a framed art, a smaller framed art, a scrapbook layout to finally what I created. I wasn’t expecting to create a card but I glad I did.

The Details:

Grab your supplies and let’s get started

cut your card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
score at 5 1/2″
layering card stock 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″
basic white 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″
using daubers, I created my background
added the gingham ribbon
die cut 3 hearts and stamped patterns on each
die cut sentiment
assemble as shown

Extra Bonus:

I had created this small bag as part of my one day retreat in January. I used Valentine for the event, but had made another sample using the True Blue Floral Designer Series Paper. I added the tag this morning using the colors for the Color Fuser Hop. It’s a quick bag to create that is perfect for a small item like jewelry or a gift card.

The Details:

Half Sheet Bag:

Designer Series Paper: cut to 6″ x12″
Score along the 12″ side at 4-1/4″, 5-3/4″, 10″, and 11 1/2″
Rotate clockwise and score along the 6″ side score at 1 1/2″ and 5″

Pay attention to the pattern on designer series paper. Some patterns will be vertical or horizontal and it will matter how you score your paper.
