Color Fusers Blog Hop December 2025

Hello December! It seems crazy to think this is the 12th month of the 2025 year. How did that happen? The last 2 months have flown by. My oldest son got engaged, I held my Holiday Retreat and now I’m planning a one day retreat! Although they are all wonderful things, we have to focus on the blog hop! It’s the last one for this year. The Color Fusers Blog Hop December 2025 has a great color combination. I hope you will enjoy the creations everyone shares.

My Project:

All three colors are part of the 2025-2027 In Color Family. Strawberry Slush is a returning favorite. Secret Sea almost instantly became a favorite of mine. It is a dark navy and looks amazing with so many of the Stampin’ Up! colors. Cloud Cover, another awesome color, adds just the right touch to offset Secret Sea.

With the holidays approaching, I created a fun fold card that could hold a gift card. Picking the snowman image as my focal point was easy. I colored the snowflakes in the four corners with the Cloud Cover Stampin’ Marker. Unfortunately, the ink pad is not available as it had a reaction to the foam pads. The color was never quite right and Stampin’ Up! ceased production of it. Using the marker to color the stamp, completed my card.

The Details:

Grab your supplies and let’s duplicate my card! You can easily change the colors to traditional holiday colors, but take a shot at creating with this color combination.

Card Base:

Cut Secret Sea card stock 4 1/4″ x 11″
With the 11″ across the top, score at 3 3/4″ and 9″

Layering Pieces:

Cut Cloud Cover or Strawberry Slush card stock 3 1/2″ x 4″
Cut Basic White card stock 3 3/4″ x 3 1/4″
Stamp image with Memento Ink
Color with coordinating Stampin’ Blends
Color the snowflake image with Cloud Cover marker

Inside Card Stock:

Cut Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 5″
With the 5″ along the top of the trimmer, score at 1/2″
Stamp tree in Secret Sea Ink
place tear & tape to the 1/2″ part to adhere to top flap of the card base (above the 3 3/4″ score line)
the card stock tucks into the bottom fold

Belly Band:

Cut 1″ x 9″ a piece of card stock
Cut 3/4″ coordinating Designer Series Paper
Fold from back to front and overlap in the front (die cut will cover)
Stamp sentiment and place on die cut
Using dimensionals, place on belly band and tuck top flap behind it

Finishing Touches:

Assemble card
Add the gems for added sparkle
Using Wink of Stella, add to scarf and hat
Using Three Banner Punch, stamp sentiment and place as shown
