October 6th, the first Monday of the month. We are counting down with only 2 more first Mondays! Where did this year go? I pulled out the paper to the color palette for this month and just sat there. Definitely isn’t one I have created with before. Immediately I thought something with leaves because of Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. However, I did do something I didn’t plan. Let’s take a look at my Color Fuser Blog Hop October 2025 project.

My Project:

I didn’t go with a leaf set which I thought was going to happen. The Branching Out Bundle recently showed up in one of orders and I had not had a chance to use it. I decided this was the day I would use it. Often with the Color Fuser Blog Hop, I tend to do coloring blocking with stripes. Stretching it a bit, I took my 1 7/8″ circle punch that happen to be on my work station and started punching. I did some overlapping on the Pecan Pie card stock and was pleasantly surprised I was pleased with the out come. Looking at my picture now, I wonder how it would look if I had mixed up the colors. Maybe next time I will try it. Taking elements from the stamp set, I started stamping a focal point and created what I feel is a masculine card.

The Details:

I used Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for my card base. It’s hard to see in the pictures. I’ve been having problems with my phone when taking pictures. They look clear but once I transfer them, they aren’t clear. I hope you can see the card ok.
