September 1st, (Happy Labor Day) is here and it is time to share. My youngest son returned to school mid August leaving our home a little quiet. Summer is winding down and I am trying to keep a smile on my face because it always goes by so fast. Next up fall season, which is nice here in New York but I so love the hot summer days. September 1st fall on a Monday this year and you know what that means, it is time to hop! This month the color palette screams fall and leaves to me. I hope you like mine as well as the others involved in The Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2025.

My Project:
I had planned to use a new set that is coming out this month but then saw Natural Botanicals and started to create. Using the birch wood embossing folder, it added the texture I was looking for. Added a leaf stamp to the garden green card stock before I used the blending brushes to shade it. Do you notice something missing from the card? Actually two things are missing. Normally, something is stamped on white card stock but I liked how the flower stamped on the basic beige card stock.

The details:
Grab your supplies and create your card.
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- trim cajun craze card stock 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
- cut basic beige 3 3/4″ x 5″
- emboss with your favorite embossing folder
- punch a 2 3/8″ circle
- stamp image in cajun craze
- trim garden green card stock 3 3/4″ x 2″ (vertical card) and 2″ x 5″ (horizontal card)
- assemble card as shown adding 1/4″ strip of cajun craze
- add an embellishment to the circle to make it pop
